Don’t spend $4-$5 for a bag of lettuce, spring greens, or spinach at the grocery store! How is that possible??? Well, here’s the tip of the day…
If your grocery store has a salad bar, you are in luck! Take one of the clear salad containers and load it up with all of the greens you’d like for:
- sandwiches
- hamburgers
- salads
- calzones
the cost will be 1/2 the price of buying bag salads, lettuce and spinach in the fresh produce department! Most times I spend $1-$2 per container! AND unlike a bag of lettuce the container is re-seal-able and re-usable after the greens are gone!
